Questions
How much less do guests pay in fees?
On a $20 ticket, Eventbrite’s US fees come to about $3.18 for the buyer (3.7% + $1.79, plus 2.9% processing). MsgOrb’s booking fee is $0.90 (2% + $0.50); Stripe’s card fee, about $0.91 in the US, comes out of your payout.
Can people find my event without a marketplace?
MsgOrb gives every event a link and a QR code to share on WhatsApp, your website and printed flyers. It doesn’t list events in a public marketplace.
How does check-in work at the door?
Volunteers open the door link on their own phones and scan each guest’s QR pass. There is nothing to install and no scanner to buy.
