How to use it
- 1Type your WhatsApp number and the message people should send, for example JOIN.
- 2Add your logo if you like. The code switches to the highest error correction so it still scans.
- 3Download PNG for screens and documents, or SVG for print at any size. Scan it once with your phone before printing.
Questions
Is the WhatsApp QR code generator free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, and the codes never expire, because they hold a plain wa.me link rather than a redirect.
Will a logo stop the code from scanning?
Not at this size. With a logo, the code uses the highest error correction, which still reads with part of the middle covered. Always test a printed code with a phone before printing many.
PNG or SVG?
PNG for screens, slides and documents. SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a banner.
Can a QR code add people to a WhatsApp list?
With MsgOrb’s Text JOIN, yes: a code with “JOIN YOUTH” typed adds the person to your Youth group and sends a welcome reply, with their consent recorded.
