The offering basket goes round and members reach for a wallet that isn’t there. Those who watch online have no way to give at all. And in January, someone adds up a year of envelopes and transfers by hand to write statements.
With MsgOrb, members give from their seat or from home in about a minute. Every gift goes to the right fund, every giver gets a receipt, and year-end statements are ready when you are.
Set it up once, in a few minutes. After that, members give whenever they like.
One click gives you a page with Tithe and Offering. Add your own funds, like Donations, Building Fund or Missions, and a receipt note.
Put the QR code in the bulletin, on the screen or by the door, and share the link in your WhatsApp groups.
They pick Tithe, Offering or a fund, choose an amount and give by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No account, no app.
Every gift has a printable receipt. Givers who leave their number get it in WhatsApp, and a statement at year end.
All three open the same giving page, with your funds and your quick amounts.
During the offering, show the QR code on the screen or print it in the bulletin. Members scan it with their phone camera and give from their seat.
Share your giving link in your church’s WhatsApp groups. Members who watch online or travel can give from wherever they are.
Members send GIVE, TITHE or OFFERING to your WhatsApp number and get a Give now button at once, with their number already filled in.
For the bulletin or the pulpit
“You can give your tithe or offering online: scan the QR code on the screen, or text GIVE to our WhatsApp number. Your receipt will come to WhatsApp.”
Giving takes about a minute on a phone, and the words speak of giving, not payments.
From the QR code on the screen, the link in a WhatsApp group, or by sending GIVE to your number.
Tithe, Offering or one of your funds, and an amount. Name and number are optional.
On Stripe’s secure checkout. No account, no app, no password to remember.
“Thank you for your faithful giving.” It names what they gave: their tithe, their offering, their giving to the Building Fund.
Every gift of the year in one printable statement, sent by you or by texting STATEMENT.

Every message comes from your organization’s own WhatsApp Business number, and replies land in your MsgOrb inbox. If the person messaged you in the last 24 hours it goes as a reply (Meta includes 1,000 free a month per number); otherwise it goes as a Meta-approved message, which you add in one click. Anyone who replied STOP is never messaged.
A building project, a mission trip, relief after a storm: a fundraiser has its own donation page with a photo, your story, a goal and a progress bar. Donors see how far you have come, give in a minute and pass the link on in their WhatsApp groups. For ongoing donations, add a Donations fund to your giving page.

Give to Men’s Meeting
Grace Chapel
Giving by group · October
Your Men’s Meeting, Youth or Women’s Fellowship can share its own giving link. It opens your giving page titled “Give to Men’s Meeting”, with your church’s name under it and the same choices. The money still goes to your church’s one Stripe account, and every gift is recorded for the group, so you see the total by group.
Every gift, refund and payout lives in your church’s own Stripe dashboard. MsgOrb runs the giving page and sends the receipts and statements on WhatsApp.
Every gift is paid on your church’s own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank. MsgOrb never holds the money.
MsgOrb’s fee is 2% + $0.50. A “cover the fee” box is ticked by default, so your church receives the full amount given.
Stripe’s card processing fee comes out of your payout, as with any Stripe payment.
Refund a gift from your Stripe dashboard, where every charge and payout is listed. Refunds are left off statements.
Givers who leave their WhatsApp number are added to your Givers group, so your announcements reach them too.
Names, totals and the giving list are for the account owner only. Other team members just see the link and QR code.
MsgOrb’s fee is 2% of the gift plus $0.50. Givers see a “cover the fee” box, ticked by default. You receive the amount below, less Stripe’s card processing fee.
| Gift | MsgOrb fee | Fee covered: giver pays | Not covered: you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20.00 offering | $0.90 | $20.90 | $19.10 |
| $50.00 tithe | $1.50 | $51.50 | $48.50 |
| $100.00 tithe | $2.50 | $102.50 | $97.50 |
| $250.00 to the Building Fund | $5.50 | $255.50 | $244.50 |
When the fee is covered, your church receives the full gift. Gifts are in your Stripe account’s currency; outside the US, the fixed part of the fee is about $0.50 in your currency. Online gifts are from $2 to $10,000.
A receipt for every gift
A printable page with what was given, to which fund, the date, and your receipt note: your legal name, tax ID and the wording your accountant recommends.
One statement per giver per year
Every tithe, offering, fund and fundraiser gift with its date, and the total. Refunds are left out, and a fee the giver covered isn’t counted as giving.
Sent on WhatsApp in one click
Press Send statements and each giver gets a link to their own, once a year. Givers can also text STATEMENT any time.

Step-by-step help is in the giving guide.
No. Every gift is paid on your church’s own Stripe account, so the money is yours from the start and Stripe pays it out to your bank. MsgOrb only receives its fee.
Giving is included on every MsgOrb plan. On each gift MsgOrb’s fee is 2% plus $0.50. A “cover the fee” box is ticked by default, so the giver adds it on top and your church receives the full amount. If they untick it, the fee comes out of the gift. Stripe’s card processing fee comes out of your payout.
Yes. Add your own, such as Building Fund, Missions or Benevolence, rename them and put them in order, up to 12. A fund you remove is only hidden, so past giving keeps its fund.
Yes, in two ways. For ongoing donations, add a fund such as Donations, Benevolence or Missions to your giving page, so anyone can give to it at any time from the same link and QR code. For a campaign with a goal, create a fundraiser: a donation page with your story, a photo and a progress bar. Donors get a receipt on WhatsApp and the gifts appear on their year-end statement.
Yes. Any organization can take donations through its giving page and run fundraisers. Rename the funds to fit you (for example General Donations and Emergency Relief), and write your own receipt note with your legal name and charity or tax number.
No. They scan the QR code or tap the link, pick a fund and an amount, and give by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
Yes. Name and WhatsApp number are optional. An anonymous gift still has its own receipt page, but it can’t go on a year-end statement.
When someone sends GIVE to your church’s WhatsApp number, MsgOrb replies at once with a Give now button and their number already filled in. TITHE and OFFERING open that fund, DONATE opens your newest fundraiser, and STATEMENT sends their year-end statement. Because they wrote first, the reply and their receipt need no template and count toward the 1,000 free replies Meta includes each month for your WhatsApp number.
Every gift has a printable receipt page with your receipt note, where most churches put their legal name, tax ID and a line such as “No goods or services were provided.” At year end each giver can get a statement of all their giving. MsgOrb doesn’t decide what makes a gift tax-deductible, so check the wording of your note with your accountant.
For each calendar year you see every giver and their total. Open anyone’s printable statement, download the year as a CSV, or press Send statements on WhatsApp to send each giver a link to their own. Each giver gets each year’s statement once, and can always get theirs by texting STATEMENT.
No. A group’s giving link opens your organization’s own giving page, titled for the group, for example “Give to Men’s Meeting” with your organization’s name under it. The money goes to your one Stripe account like every gift, and each gift is recorded for that group, so your report shows the total by group.
Yes. Every contact group has a “Giving link for” card on its page with the link, a QR code and Share on WhatsApp, and on Giving you can pick the group under “Link for”. Givers see the same choices as your main giving page.
Yes. A fundraiser has its own page with a photo, your story, a goal and a progress bar, the number of donors and the days left. Donors can leave a short message and choose to show their name. Share it on WhatsApp and ask people to pass it on.
No. WhatsApp treats asking for money as marketing, so MsgOrb never sends giving appeals or reminders. Members give from your link, your QR code or by texting GIVE, and the only messages they get are their receipt and their statement.
Not yet. Each gift is one at a time for now. Monthly giving is the next step we are building.
Only the account owner sees givers’ names, the totals and the CSV download. Other team members you invite see the giving link and QR code, so they can share them.
