- A Zapier or Make account
- A Calendly event that asks for the invitee’s phone number
- An approved utility template, such as MsgOrb’s Appointment Reminder
Set it up

- 2In Zapier or Make, start with Calendly’s new invitee trigger.
- 3Add a webhook step that posts to your MsgOrb endpoint with the x-api-key header and the invitee’s name, phone and time.
- 4Book a test appointment and check MsgOrb’s connection logs.
Questions
Why not connect Calendly directly?
MsgOrb authenticates with an x-api-key header, and Calendly’s own webhooks can’t add one. Zapier and Make can, and both have a Calendly trigger.
Does the invitee need to opt in?
Booking an appointment and giving a phone number for reminders is a request for those reminders. Say on your booking form that reminders come by WhatsApp.
