WhatsApp Notifications from Any System

If your booking system, CRM, help desk or website can make an HTTP request, it can send WhatsApp messages through MsgOrb. Post the event to your endpoint with your API key, and MsgOrb sends the approved template you chose, filled with your values.

Your own web forms can also add contacts to a group, with opt-in proof, through the registration endpoint.

What it sends

MessageWhen
AppointmentBookings, reminders and changes
DeliveryOrders shipped, out for delivery, delivered
Status updateCase, ticket or application changes

What you need

  • A MsgOrb account with WhatsApp connected
  • An approved utility template for each event
  • Your workspace API key

Set it up

  1. 1Open the Notification page for the event: Appointment, Delivery or Status Update.
  2. 2Choose the template, map each blank to a field in your request, and copy the endpoint URL and API key.
  3. 3POST JSON to the endpoint with the x-api-key header. Use the test flags to try it before real traffic.
  4. 4Watch the connection logs: the last 100 calls with their status and any error.

Questions

Can it send free text?

No. Notifications reach people who haven’t just messaged you, so Meta requires an approved template, and MsgOrb refuses a call with no template chosen.

Can I run several businesses?

Yes. Add a business parameter to the endpoint URL and each business gets its own template, field mapping and logs.
