Green tick (verified business)
The check mark next to a business name on WhatsApp that shows the account is verified.
WhatsApp used to show a green tick for official business accounts. Since 2024, verified businesses show a blue check mark instead, the same as on Facebook and Instagram.
The check mark is optional. Organizations can message on the WhatsApp Business Platform without it; what matters most for delivery is good opt-in and a healthy quality rating.
