Preventing duplicate campaigns

The warning that appears when the same announcement is already queued.

If you submit a workflow whose title and target group match a campaign queued in the last 20 minutes, MsgOrb pauses instead of sending and shows an amber panel: *This campaign looks like one you just sent*.

The panel names the campaign, when it was queued and how many recipients it reached, and offers three choices:

  • Send anyway — proceed. The repeat is queued.
  • Cancel — abandon this submission.
  • View active campaigns — open Campaigns to look before deciding.

Nothing has been queued at the moment the warning appears. It is a confirmation step, not a rejection.

Checking first

The Campaigns page opens on the Active tab, listing everything currently scheduled or sending. Checking it before you build a workflow is the reliable way to avoid a double send, especially when more than one person administers the workspace.
